Manchester United boss, Ralf Rangnick has said that he believes midfielder, Fred could score with his right foot.
Fred scored the only goal of the match, 13 minutes from time, with an impressive curled shot with his weaker right foot from outside the box.
And the new boss said he enquired from his assistant to know exactly who scored the goal because he never expected to see Fred shoot with his right foot.
Before Fred struck the winning goal for the Red Devils, Rangnick’s side had complete control of the match but had struggled to find a breakthrough.
Rangnick, “Not with his right foot, I had to ask my assistant, ‘who scored’. He said Fred, I said ‘what with his right foot’,” Rangnick added.
“He’s a wonderful boy, this is one thing I can say after just two days and from Ole, I think it’s great to have a boy like him, same with Scott [McTominay].
“With those two number sixes, we’re able to play aggressive football against the ball.”
